Do you speak English?
Yes — Pui communicates in English over WhatsApp in writing. Her spoken English is functional, so we use a visual process: you align on your design through reference images before the visit, and everything is mapped and approved on your face before we begin. The language barrier is handled before you ever sit down.
Does it hurt?
Most clients describe it as mild discomfort rather than pain — a light scratching sensation. We use numbing throughout to keep you comfortable. Brows and eyeliner are very manageable; lips can feel slightly more sensitive but are still well tolerated.
How long does PMU last?
Typically 1–3 years depending on your skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and the technique. Oily skin and sun fade pigment faster. Most clients return every two years for a refresh — which is exactly what our pricing is built around.
Do I need a second session?
Not as a rule. Your price is for one complete session, and most clients are happy after their first visit. A perfecting touch-up can add longevity if you'd like it, but it's optional — and if any area fades while it heals, our guarantee covers a correction at no extra cost.
Is the consultation free?
Your consultation on WhatsApp is free — share your reference photos and questions, and we'll align on your design before you book. The in-person design and mapping is included in every booked session.
Because we're appointment-only with limited slots, we can't offer free drop-in consultations at the studio. A standalone in-person consultation, without a booked session, is available at half the treatment price.
How do I book?
Everything starts on WhatsApp. Message us, share your reference photos and preferred dates, and we'll align on your design and confirm a slot. Our base daytime slots are 9:30, 11:30, 13:00 and 16:00, by appointment only — and we can sometimes open earlier or later times (such as early morning or evening), so just ask.
Can I get this done while visiting Bangkok?
Absolutely — we work with travelers all the time. Message us before you arrive so we can do the design consultation in advance. Travelers also get our healing guarantee extended to three months.
Is it safe?
Yes, and we're fully transparent about it. Needles are single-use and opened in front of you, pigments are EU REACH compliant and generally MRI-compatible (tell your doctor you've had PMU; SDS on request), and Pui is PhiBrows certified with 5,000+ procedures. What does it cost?
Brows, lip blush, and eyeliner each start at 4,900 THB; combo brows are 5,900 THB. The price you're quoted is the price you pay — no hidden fees and no tourist markup. Full pricing is on the Services page.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept credit cards, with a 3% processing fee added; cash is welcome too. If you'd like to confirm before your visit, just message us on WhatsApp.
Can you cover up or fix PMU done at another salon?
In most cases, yes — we currently revive and refresh existing brows, eyeliner and lips from other salons at no extra charge. Difficult corrections may add 1,000 THB. If your old work is very dark or saturated and would need laser removal first, we may not be able to cover it directly (a laser option is under consideration). The best first step is to send a close-up photo on WhatsApp or LINE so Pui can assess it honestly.
Where are you located, and is there parking?
N&Beauty is a private studio on Sukhumvit 23, a short walk from BTS Asoke and MRT Sukhumvit — easiest by taxi or Grab to Sukhumvit Soi 23. The building has paid parking; bring your parking ticket to the studio and we'll stamp it for 1 hour free. We'll send the exact map pin once your appointment is confirmed.
I get cold sores (herpes) around my lips — can I still get lip blush?
Please tell us in advance if you're prone to cold sores. If you let us know before your appointment, we'll advise taking an antiviral beforehand as a precaution; if it comes up on the day, we'll point you to a nearby pharmacy. Lip blush can trigger an outbreak in people who are prone, so a little preparation makes a big difference.
How much is a retouch, and how often do I need one?
A retouch within your first year is available from 2,500 THB. We recommend refreshing about every two years — and our pricing is set, based on lots of client feedback, to make that two-year refresh easy to come back for. (There's no separate ‘within two years’ discount; the standard price is already built around it.)
I'm also getting Botox, filler or Ulthera — what order should I do them in?
We recommend doing your permanent makeup first. Ideally, allow about a week of healing before other facial treatments — but having PMU first rarely causes problems. Tell us on WhatsApp what else you're planning and we'll help you sequence it.
Microblading, Powder or Combo — which technique is right for me?
We decide together at your consultation. As a guide: if you love a natural, bare-skin look, we suggest Microblading; if you wear makeup daily, Powder or Combo suits you better. For travelers, we often suggest Combo (Mix) because the colour holds well from a single session. The final choice is always yours — we make sure of that.
How does lip blush colour work, and what is the ‘vivid’ option?
Our standard lip blush is a two-tone process: first we neutralise dullness with an orange base, then layer the colour you love. If you want a more vivid result in a single session, we can do a three-tone process (this also creates a gradation), priced 1,000 THB above the standard.
Do you remove old permanent makeup?
We don't currently offer laser removal (a laser machine is under consideration). For minor corrections, we offer corrective PMU from 1,900 THB. If you're hoping for heavier removal, send us a photo on WhatsApp and we'll advise honestly.
Can I bring my child to the appointment?
Yes, children are welcome as long as they can wait calmly on the sofa during your session. For babies under one, we may ask that they come with a nanny or another family member, so you can relax and we can work safely.
Do you do PMU for men, and can I see examples?
Yes — brow and eyeliner PMU suit men who want a naturally fuller, defined look, and we can show you more men's before-and-afters in the studio. Every result we share is used only with the client's permission: each client chooses whether their photos may be shown in-studio, posted online, or kept completely private — and we always honour that choice.
