Aftercare & Downtime Guide
A little care goes a long way
How you spend the first weeks after your treatment shapes how beautifully your permanent makeup heals. This page is the online version of the printed aftercare card we hand you at the salon — if you ever lose the paper, everything is right here.
Jump to your treatment
First: the rules for every treatment
The first days are when the pigment settles, so please be gentle with the area.
- ⚠
For the first 3 days, keep the treated area as dry as possible when washing your face
- ⚠
Scabs usually form in 7-10 days — apply the ointment we gave you
- ⚠
Avoid makeup on the treated area until the skin has settled
- ⚠
Avoid sweating — hard exercise, saunas and pools — for about 5 days
Brows: Healing Stages & Care
Your eyebrows will heal through these stages.

Before the procedure
Your natural brows.

Right after the procedure
The color looks dark and defined at first. This lasts for the first few days.

A few days after
Scabs form on the brows. Keep them moisturized and avoid dryness.

About 1 week after
The scabs come off and the color softens. Avoid strong sun while it settles.
Care tips
- •
While scabs are forming, keep them moisturized with the ointment we gave you
- •
Protect your brows from strong sun until the color has settled
Scabbing and itchy?
Moisturize generously with Vaseline. Scabbing is a natural part of healing and usually appears 7-10 days after your treatment.
Lips: The 30-Day Color Journey
Lips change more than any other area. As the chart shows, the color settles in over about 30 days — a very light phase around week one is a normal part of the process.

Day 1-2
The color looks very dark.
Day 3-4
Scabs gradually form.
Around Day 7
The color can turn very light for a while.
Day 30
The color settles in and blooms.
Care tips

When brushing your teeth, be careful not to touch your lips with the toothbrush

Avoid hot drinks, spicy food, and alcohol for 3-4 days after your treatment

After eating, gently wipe your lips with saline solution

Even after the scabs come off, keep your lips moisturized with ointment or Vaseline

Your original lip dullness may show through for a while (it fades in 3-4 weeks)
- •
Retouching is available from 2 months after your treatment
Swollen lips?
Keep your lips well moisturized, and use the cooling pack we gave you after your treatment, wrapped in a towel.
Eyeliner: Caring for the Eye Area
The eye area is delicate — please keep these points in mind.

Care tips
- •
Your eyelids may be slightly swollen for a few days — gently cool them with a cold pack wrapped in a towel
- •
The sun in Thailand is strong: protect your eyes with sunglasses outdoors
- •
Avoid sweating as much as possible — no hard exercise, saunas, or long baths
- •
Putting in or taking out contact lenses can damage the treated area, so be extra careful until your eyelids settle
