Safety & Pigments
Safety is the right question to ask.
When you're getting PMU in Southeast Asia, hygiene and pigment safety should be your first concern — not your last. So here is everything we do, openly. If anything below raises a question, ask us before you book.

You're welcome to watch every step
Our sterile protocol
You're welcome to watch every step. We'd rather you did.
- Every needle is single-use and opened from a sealed sterile pack in front of you
- Medical-grade gloves throughout the procedure
- Disposable pigment cups — no cross-contamination between clients
- You can ask to watch the needle being opened, any time
About PhiBrows SUPER Pigment
What's going into your skin — and why it matters
Not all pigment is created equal. Here's what's going into your skin and why it matters:
- PhiBrows is the world's largest PMU academy and brand
- SUPER Pigment uses a synthetic color base with a bioinert coating — it doesn't behave like old-style tattoo ink
- EU REACH compliant, meeting the EU's strict chemical-safety framework
- Free from raw iron oxide, so it won't turn red or grey as it fades
- MRI safe — if you have an MRI scheduled, ask us and we'll provide the Safety Data Sheet (SDS)

Use this anywhere — not just with us
What to ask any PMU studio
Use this anywhere, not just with us. If a studio can't answer these clearly, walk away.
- "Do you open the needle in front of me?"
- "What pigment brand do you use, and is it REACH compliant?"
- "Can I see the SDS for the pigment?"
- "Are you PhiBrows certified, or otherwise internationally certified?"
